Where is the Pietà Rondanini?
In its own museum in the Ospedale Spagnolo, the former Spanish hospital on the Cortile delle Armi, where it has stood since 2 May 2015. It has its own ticket desk and lockers, but it is on the same €10 ticket as the other museums. Most guided Sforza Castle tours start or finish there.
How long do I need at the castle?
Allow two to three hours for the museums, the Pietà Rondanini and the courtyards together. A guided tour covers the highlights in ninety minutes, and the courtyards alone take twenty to thirty. Add half an hour if you want the battlement walk.
How do I get to the castle?
Take the red M1 to Cairoli, 200 metres from the museum desk, or the green M2 to Lanza. Trams 1, 2, 4, 12 and 14 stop alongside, and Milano Cadorna station is about 400 metres from the Pietà Rondanini desk. Piazza Castello itself is pedestrian and inside Milan's Area C.
What happens to a Sforza Castle booking if I cancel?

Can I see Leonardo's Sala delle Asse?
Not at the moment. The Sala delle Asse, the room Leonardo painted as a pergola of trees in 1498, is closed while its restoration continues, and it opened only briefly for guided scaffold visits in early 2026. A guide in the ducal rooms around it will still tell you where it is and why it matters.
Does this include the Duomo terraces?
